It turned out that I needed to replace my brakes. They fit me in to their schedule that day and even provided Chris Fuller to give me a ride to work. I brought my 1976 Beetle in last week. It needs a lot of work. Not their usual thing Dave the Manager explained up front. I had since found someone in my neighborhood who has a bug and works on bugs. I called Dave and explained. I was worried there might be an issue since I brought the car in last week and we had a long discussion about what we needed to do. Dave was very professional and friendly and I asked if I could just get an oil change. I picked my car up yesterday and paid for the oil change and happily went on my way.
